Jawan box office collection day 28: Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film registered its lowest single-day haul yet, as it prepares to pass the Rs 1100 crore global gross mark.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan remains steady at the Indian box office. The film minted ₹ 2 crore on its 28th day (across languages), Sacnilk reported. Jawan, which is currently in its fourth week, has collected over ₹ 614.72 crore at the domestic box office. Wait, there is more. The Atlee directorial is unleashing its power and creating history, globally as well. Jawan has collected over ₹ 1068.58 crore (worldwide), as per the production house Red Chillies Entertainment. Jawan is now the highest-grossing Hindi film. It has surpassed Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, and Shah Rukh Khan’s previous offering Pathaan.

With both KGF 2 and RRR having made more than Rs 1200 crore globally, it seems unlikely that Jawan will be able to hit this milestone by the end of its run, considering that it’s still trailing by around Rs 100 crore. Baahubali 2’s Rs 1700 lifetime collection and Dangal’s Rs 2400 crore lifetime collection is completely out of reach. Combined Jawan and Pathaan have contributed over Rs 2100 crore to the global box office this year, making Shah Rukh the only Bollywood star to deliver two Rs 1000 crore-plus grossers in one year, and helping Bollywood stage a comeback after two disappointing years.
