Khaqan Shahnawaz is a brilliant Pakistani actor and social media influencer. He has a significant Instagram following. In the start of his acting career, Khaqan appeared in Mahira Khan’s production Barhwaan Khiladi. He also grabbed a part in Hum Tv’s popular drama serial Yunhi in which he perfectly portrayed the character of Daniyal who was a selfish guy. Fans loved his performance in College Gate and Hadsa as well. He is now appearing in ARY Digital’s Sukoon.
Lately, Khaqan Shahnawaz appeared in ARY Digital’s morning show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir. In the show, he responded to the public criticism of wearing makeup in the dramas. Talking about it, he said, “I am often accused by fans that I use make up. They say, “Why do you wear make up?”, its my tragedy that If I don’t wear make it seems that I am too white and I am wearing make up, I have to do makeup to hide my extremely white complexion because here they don’t know how to do lighting for the white complexion like previously Hollywood didn’t know how to light dark people”. So, Khaqan is of the view that he actually has to do efforts to hide his white complexion because if he doesn’t hide it, he looks too white for camera:
