In the wake of his split from the Princess of Pop, Britney Spears, Sam Asghari shared his thoughts on Britney’s forthcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me,” and discussed his life after the divorce.
The 29-year-old model and actor filed for divorce from the 41-year-old Britney Spears in August, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation. During a recent outing, photographers asked Sam about his concerns regarding his portrayal in Britney’s upcoming book.
Sam’s response was gracious and supportive when speaking to TMZ. He expressed his lack of concern about any negative portrayals, saying, “No, I already read it, and I’m very proud of her. She put a lot of work into it, and it was very hard. I’m definitely excited, and I’m extremely proud of her. It was a very tough one.” Sam even indicated his intent to be one of the first to purchase the book.
Additionally, Sam clarified that he is currently not dating and is instead focusing on his career, stating, “I’m focused on work right now. That’s what I’m doing. I’m putting a lot of work into stunt training and a lot of acting.”
In the midst of their separation, there have been discussions about modifications made to the memoir and even hints of a potential second memoir from Britney.
This isn’t the first instance of Sam showing his unwavering support for Britney post-split. Earlier this month, he defended her against a controversial figure who was making fun of her.
Regarding Britney’s memoir, it has been revealed that an A-list actress will narrate most of the audiobook version. “The Woman in Me” is scheduled for release on October 24, and interested readers can preorder it on Amazon.
