While going through her divorce from Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner stopped following Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas’ wife. Priyanka Chopra responded by stopping to follow the Game of Thrones actor on all of her social media accounts. Joe and Sophie, who were married for four years, filed for divorce last month. They got back together so they could spend more time with their kids.
While Sophie now also follows Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas, she no longer follows Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka Chopra has been silent about the split between Joe and Sophie.
It was reported earlier this week that Priyanka is having a hard time dealing with the split and custody problem. She reportedly had a tight relationship with Sophie. Sophie had anticipated that she, Joe, Nick, and Priyanka would all settle in the British capital. Priyanka is very protective of Sophie and her nieces.
Sophie and Priyanka have discussed their closeness in interviews. Sophie said Priyanka is a talented actor, especially in Indian films, and they were treated well at her and Nick’s wedding in India. The two appeared together at the Jonas Brothers Walk of Fame star ceremony at a London concert earlier this year.
Joe and Sophie’s official statement reads, “We’ve chosen to divorce amicably after four lovely years. There are many theories on why, but this is a unanimous choice, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy for us and our children.” It emphasizes unity and appeals for privacy and respect from everybody.
